There are more than 2.5 million orphans in Uganda, and our partners at Otino Waa Children’s Village are working to rescue them and raise up compassionate, capable leaders.
Their Children’s Village is home to more than 300 children. This part of the ministry has been in place since 2003, and today is where children who have no one to care for them, or who may have been in dangerous situations, can find safe haven.
PATH International’s Community Care program is a complement to the Children’s Village, where they partner with local churches to equip leaders and to provide children and families with basic necessities like food, medical care, and education. All while keeping kids in their home villages.
