The Lord Is Near

Winter 2025 Sermon Series

Starting January 19th, we begin a new sermon series called The Lord Is Near, where we will journey through the writings of the prophet Isaiah to discover the transforming power of God’s presence in our lives. In a world filled with distractions and competing voices, we often forget that God is not distant, but is near, inviting us into deeper relationship, freedom, and restoration.

Over the next several weeks, we will be awakened to the good news of God’s nearness and embrace a new way of living that reflects His peace and purpose in our daily lives. We will explore ways to cultivate habits—rest, scripture, community, and fasting—that keep us grounded in the reality of God’s care and closeness. This series is an invitation to awaken our hearts, shift our focus, and experience the freedom and joy that come when we remember: The Lord is near.
