Ashley Caveda
Director of Communications & Events
Ashley joined the CG Midtown staff in September 2020 after doing communications and video editing work at a local nonprofit for many years. She grew up in Ft. Wayne and first moved to Indianapolis when she became a Butler Bulldog as an undergrad. She has an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Ohio State University. As a person who uses a wheelchair, she often writes nonfiction essays about issues related to disability justice.
Ashley is an extrovert who loves to travel, work on creative projects with her friends, and consume nerdy pop culture and then talk about it with her younger brother. She is currently writing a book about a girl with a disability that is set on the moon.
